Refurbished, not landfilled

Good printers deserve a second office, not a landfill.

Offices retire printers on a lease schedule, long before they wear out. We buy them back, test and refurbish every one, and resell it on eBay, so it keeps printing instead of becoming e-waste.

How OfficeCycle works

Good business printers get retired on a lease schedule, not because they stopped working. We give them a second office.

  1. We buy retired printers

Lasers, all-in-ones and copiers from offices that upgraded, working or not.

  2. We test, clean and wipe

Every unit runs a duplex test print. Rollers get cleaned, and stored scans and address books get erased.

  3. It gets a second office

You buy it on eBay with the real page count, toner level and photos of the actual machine. Units we can't fix are stripped for parts and the rest goes to a certified recycler.

Reuse beats recycling.

The greenest printer is one that already exists. Making a new office laser takes metal, plastic and energy that a refurbished one has already paid for, and most retired electronics never reach a recycler at all.

62Mtonnes of e-waste the world produced in 2022, up 82% since 2010
22%of it was formally collected and recycled. The rest was dumped, burned or stored.

E-waste figures: UN Global E-waste Monitor 2024 (UNITAR and ITU).

  • Repair first

Worn rollers and firmware faults get fixed, not scrapped.

  • Parts second

Dead units are stripped for drums, fusers and trays that keep other printers running.

  • Recycle last

What's left goes to a certified e-waste recycler, never the trash.

  • Reused packaging

Desktop printers ship in reused boxes and padding wherever we can.

Everything we sell is on eBay.

Checkout, shipping and returns all run through eBay, so every order has eBay's Money Back Guarantee behind it. New printers go up every week.
